Free Preview Day at the NEC Motorcycle Show

4th November 2008

Wall of DeathOrganisers of the Carole Nash International Motorcycle and Scooter Show have created the most comprehensive entertainment package ever and have decided that the prestigious Preview Day (Friday 28th November) will be Freeview Day; once in the Show all activities and features be free of charge.

The 2008 Show is definitely more action-packed than ever before, featuring an amazing day for the entire family. ‘Must see’ highlights include the Thunderdome Games Arena and The Wall of Death where stunt riders compete against each and defy gravity, there are also top racer interviews, quizzes and exciting opportunities to ride, no matter what age or ability*.

The Demo Rides Zone offers riders the chance to test all the latest machinery from the big brands including BMW, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, Suzuki, Triumph, Victory and Yamaha out on the surrounding roads and anyone proving their biking credentials by riding to the Show will be treated to an undercover and secure Bike Park. The Off-Road Zone allows you to experience the thrill of a motocross bike on a purpose built off-road, all-weather track on machinery from Yamaha, Honda and Kawasaki.

New riders get their first biking opportunity courtesy of the BSM Training Zone whilst novice, women and shorter riders will love the BMW Low Seat Demo Zone, featuring specially lowered machines.

Youngsters are well catered for with a chance to obtain their first riding experience at My First Honda Licence, whilst the Mini Moto and Karting Circuit often prove that age and experience does not always beat youth and courage! New for 2008 is the Suzuki Off-Road Experience- where off-road riding gets brought inside, to the warmth of the NEC.

Meet your favorite riders on the Black Horse Stage in the Arai Entertainment Zone and TWO/Visordown All-Star Forum where top riders turned commentators Steve Parrish and James Whitham get great value out of their interviewees.

Show sponsors Carole Nash have really pulled out the stops with the amazing CN Construct feature - a custom bike made from scratch over the shows duration before visitors’ very eyes and against the clock! Other Carole Nash feature areas at the Show include the Custom Xtreme, Classic and Club Zone.

Show visitors will have the chance to buy a high quality Show Guide, which is packed with features, in-depth information and a floor plan.

Finlay McAllan, Managing Director of MCI Exhibitions, said: “This really is the widest spread of activities we have laid on and we believe you need a full day to get it all in! We have to thank our exhibitors and partners for continually coming up with some great ideas for exciting features.”

Preview Day tickets can be bought for £28 whilst standard day tickets are £17, or £15 in advance.
